Candidate need to go to office daily) Duration- Contract Note- Database Administration in building Data warehouse and applying ML models related work experience. Basic hands-on experience on Unix. AWS Exposure Job Description: Masters or bachelors degree in Computer Science / Engineering / similar technical discipline and or equivalent experience 7+ years of software development experience 5+ years of experience in PostgreSQL / Oracle, and or similar relations database. Experience in Database Administration, building Data warehouse and applying ML models related work experience Basic hands-on experience on Unix. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to learn new technologies and creativity in applying them to business problems. Exposure to AWS framework is a plus. Domain knowledge - Working in Transportation/Shipping Industry (Chassis, Truck, Vessel & Rail Operations). People, result, and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities. Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Roles and Responsibilities Accountable for creating and enabling data warehouse/lake system, analytic tools, and interfacing between data consumers and data providers. Responsible for technical cooperation between data subscribers and data creators. Lead efforts to extract together data such that it can be easily ingested by automated tools, process data into clean, accessible sets, transform raw and disparate data sets into inputs for computational analytics efforts. Implement appropriate governance structure to prescribe data handling, protection, and user provisioning controls Design, deploy, and move data between purpose-based lakes to include raw, harmonized, enriched, curated, analytic, and training lakes Perform operational activities related to data management such as metadata capture, data quality, data security, data lineage, data inventory. Architecture Roadmap - Data Warehouse/Lake & Commercial Analytics Ensure that data curation and commercial analytics application architecture decisions are consistent across the full commercial domain, aligned to enterprise architecture. Development, upgrade, and support of data assets and analytics systems. Accountable for overall quality and delivery of data services, including technical support services for Operational, Commercial, BI and Engineering services.
