http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=655775&uid= Job Description Role : Jr. Systems Engineer Location : Onsite in Wallula, WA Duration : 3-6 months before perm conversion MOI : Phone/Skype Visa : GC/USC Rate : 40/hr on C2C Skills/ Must-Haves : * experience with lvl 1-2 troubleshooting of windows environments (they should highlight their hands on exp on resume) * working knowledge of VMware * working knowledge of SCCM * ability to work with application installs, imaging, printers and AD * General knowledge of VLAN's (knowing what DHCP is) * Ability to work onsite in Wallula, WA daily - along with other local sites: Additional Skills: * High level of customer service Company / Job Insight: * Onsite daily in Wallula, WA (locations above all within a few miles of each other) - PCA does reimburse mileage as needed * Publicly traded S&P 500 company headquartered in Lake Forest - very stable organization (the hiring manager has been there for 24 years) * Team of 27 scattered across PCA locations * Position is open due to retirement of an employee * Wants someone who is looking for a long-term opportunity - should have a relatively stable career path * Contract portion will likely last ~3-6 months, ultimately wants someone full-time after the contract duration Required Skills and Experience: A minimum of 3-9 years previous work experience in related ITS area. IT knowledge of computers, laptops, tablets, servers, virtual machine environment. Knowledge of networks (i.e.: TCP/IP, Packet Capture Software). Knowledge of VMware and Microsoft Server environment. Experience with Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory. Experience Supporting O365 including Outlook and MS Teams. Experience investigating and resolving help desk service requests and use of help desk software. Understanding of VLAN concepts and configuration. Understand the concept of Power commands. Familiarity with Wireless technologies (Aruba, Aerohive and Cisco) Familiarity with traffic capture techniques and software. Understanding of DHCP, vLans, and SSH protocols. Must be Windows Operating Systems literate. Desktop and server. Comm vault backup experience Must have strong organizational skills to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests. Must have the ability to adapt to and work effectively and independently in a fast paced, multitasking environment. Must be able to evaluate and prioritize tasks for efficiency and completeness.
