Job Summary:

The Department of Children and Families is seeking a Certified Project Manager III to lead and oversee the development, management, and implementation of high-profile projects aimed at supporting
DCF services for children and families. The ideal candidate should possess outstanding organizational and communication skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a strong background in project management, particularly within the
business area. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee project functions across all assigned projects, including the development and maintenance of workplans, timelines, and evaluation efforts.

Engage with external and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication of project status to Department Management Teams, workgroups, providers, and advocacy organizations.

Develop automated tools to streamline internal processes, enhancing the efficiency of project development and execution efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Project Management: Proven experience in project management with a track record of successful project delivery.

Written and Verbal Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively conveying project updates and information to various stakeholders.

Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions in complex situations.

Certified PMP: Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or completion of a recognized project manager curriculum is REQUIRED. Candidates will be required
to provide a certificate at the time of submission to this posting.
