Role is also responsible for supporing middleware components on Client Z such as zTPF, Websphere, Websphere MQ,and DB2. Supporting Client z15 or higher mainframe and z/OS 2.2.3 or higher operating system. Lead the client mainframe systems operation activities. Primary tasks being MVS systems programming activities such as system performance, problem determination and resolution, and RACF security administration. Other day to day activities may include participating in disaster recovery tests. Knowledge of mainframe storage and backup providing guidance to CICS and DB2 systems programmers. Hands on experience of client mainframe IPL process managing multiple z/OS LPARs as required by the client. Required Skills- Intermediate level understanding of Mainframe operating systems and program productions such as z/OS, RACF, DB2, CICS (3+ years) Intermediate level understanding of zTPF, WebSphere MQ for z/OS, IMS, zNetview (3+years) Experience with Copy Services functions, e.g. Global Mirror, FlashCopy, HyperSwap (2+ years) Experience with Clients e-config and HCD tools (2+ years) Experience managing and working across multiple programs and CLIENT divisions (2+ years) 10+ years of experience installing, customizing, and maintaining MVS operating systems 5+ years of experience Supporting a stabilized CLIENT mainframe system and VM environments Hands on CICS / WebSphere MQ Systems leading CICS / MQ environmental support Experienced with RMF and EJES with performance, problem determination and resolution skills Perform systems planning, installation/decommission, configuration/customization Cloud experience- either CLIENT Cloud, AWs, Azure ) or GCP Preferred Skills - with years of experience needed A strong curiosity about our clients business needs, coupled with a passion to stay on the cutting edge. Consulting skills including team building, flexibility, and client-facing skills. Ability to demonstrate skills in analysis, design, implementation, and development process.
