Designing solutions - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and design custom Shopify solutions that meet business objectives. 2. Technical Implementation - Develop and implement Shopify-based websites, themes, and applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid (Shopify's template language), and other relevant technologies. 3. Customization - Customize and extend Shopify functionalities using apps, APIs, and custom code to create unique and tailored shopping experiences. 4. Performance Optimization - Optimize website performance, including page load speed, responsiveness, and user experience, by implementing best practices and performance optimization techniques. 5. Integration - Integrate third-party services, plugins, and APIs to enhance the functionality of the Shopify store, such as payment gateways, shipping solutions, analytics, and marketing tools. 6. Quality Assurance- Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, compatibility, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers. 7. Security and Compliance - Implement security best practices to safeguard customer data and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations (such as GDPR, PCI DSS). 8. Troubleshooting- Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors that may arise during development or post-launch. 9. Documentation- Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, coding standards, and project documentation. 10. Stay Current - Keep up to date with the latest trends, tools, and updates in the Shopify ecosystem and e-commerce industry. Requirements: - Proven experience designing and developing e-commerce websites on the Shopify and Shopify Plus platforms. - In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform and its capabilities and features. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid JS templating language along with Shopify design elements (themes, templates, components, Java script,HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap) - Experience with Developing full stack solutions, Shopify's APIs, app development, and integration of third-party services. - Expertise in REST-based implementations with shopify plus platform. - Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile optimization. - Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. - Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients. - Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in e-commerce. - Able to work in Agile & devops environments, review code of peers and mentor/train team. - Proficient in communicating and driving technology solutions that support business objectives. - Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills on various issues. Preferred Requirements: - Shopify certification or relevant certifications in web development and e-commerce. - Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) for more complex customizations. - Familiarity with UX/UI design principles to enhance user experience. - Experience with Devops tools & CI/CD methodologies.
