The Network Engineers will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure by addressing Tier 2/3 issues, managing escalations for routing, switching, wireless, and data security concerns. Additionally, these engineers will contribute to the design and deployment of new solutions and locations. The primary focus of this role is on wireless technologies, with an emphasis on wireless surveys, design, deployment, and management of Aruba and Cisco WIFI environments. One of these engineers will ideally serve as the Wireless Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Architect Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting Tier 2/3 issues, and managing escalations related to routing, switching, wireless, and data security. Collaborate on the design and deployment of new locations and solutions, ensuring efficient and effective network functionality. Specialize in wireless technologies, performing wireless surveys and designs, managing Aruba and Cisco WIFI environments, and deploying WIFI solutions across the organization. Act as the Wireless SME/Architect for the Norton enterprise, possessing an in-depth understanding of wireless security practices. Utilize tools such as Airwave, Aruba Central, and Cisco Prime to manage and optimize wireless environments. Conduct predictive and active/passive wireless surveys using tools like Ekahau and AirMagnet. Serve as an administrator for Aruba Clearpass, contributing to network security and access control. Demonstrate self-initiative and the ability to independently manage project tasks. Provide exceptional customer service, fostering collaboration with teammates and other departments. Create comprehensive documentation for new deployments, ensuring accurate and detailed records. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, being available for one week every two months. Ideally be in the Louisville area, with the possibility of considering candidates within a 2-4-hour distance and occasional travel to Louisville. Qualifications and Skills: Equivalent of Cisco CCNP or Aruba certification level. Proven experience in network engineering with a focus on wireless/mobility solutions. Strong proficiency in troubleshooting Tier 2/3 network issues, including routing, switching, and data security. Extensive experience in wireless technologies, wireless surveys, design, and deployment. Expertise in managing Aruba and Cisco WIFI environments, including tools like Airwave and Cisco Prime. Familiarity with predictive and active/passive wireless survey tools such as Ekahau and AirMagnet. Ability to act as an Aruba Clearpass administrator and implement wireless security best practices. Strong self-starter with the ability to manage project tasks independently. Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative mindset. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and collaboration. Flexibility to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Preferred location in the Louisville area; open to candidates within a 2-4-hour distance.
