The position reports to the VP of IT. The role requires expert knowledge with PowerBI or similar BI platforms (Tableau, Domo, etc) in addition to working knowledge of system & data integrations across currently used platforms (Shopify, Acumatica ERP, SQL Server). The candidate will work with and oversee vendors supporting the integration infrastructure as well as report writers and data analysts (external/3rd party). The candidate should be confident in their skillset, being able to build ad-hoc reports as needed and troubleshoot integrations as problems arise. Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL and tools like Postman is a big plus. Working with various data and file formats should be second nature (CSV, JSON, XML). Experience in building data schemas, setting up robust process monitoring and reconciliation of data across systems is crucial. As BI needs have sharply increased over the past year and have outgrown existing reporting capabilities, this position offers the rare opportunity to build a BI & Integration environment from scratch. The candidate will have the opportunity to influence the tool selection and bring their own vision of a modern BI & Analytics platform to live. The ideal candidate can build partnerships with teams and individuals across the organization and understands how to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical staff. The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities is critical.
