Hi,

Job Title: Data Center Engineer

Location:  Chandler, AZ

Duration: 6 Months Onsite

HPE - Hardware Installation Tech Qualifications

-           Experience in IT Operations with hands on experience in Data Center Operations

-           2+ years related work experience

-           Familiarity with all server and storage hardware which will be hosted in the environment.

-           Ability to self-manage installations of Servers, Storage and Network hardware based on program requirements

-           Above average experience with installation Servers and Storage equipment

-           Above average experience with installation of Network switches, patch cabling, transceivers, and other related equipment

-           Above average experience in the use of network testing equipment (utilize equipment to troubleshoot connectivity issues related to patch cabling and related infrastructure)

            -           Fluke and Viavi

-           Basic knowledge of multiple operating systems; Windows, Linux, and HP-UX

-           Basic knowledge of networking, LAN, WAN and SAN environments; understanding of network impacts on the server and storage services.

-           Basic knowledge electrical loads of computer equipment, plug types, PDU load balancing. etc.

-           Ability to evaluate needed maintenance activities for potential business impact and risk

-           Ability to coordinate activities of facility services for power installation/connection, floor tile updates and related issues

-           Ability to assist activities of 3rd party hardware support engineers (CE)

-           Knowledge of PC based project management and spreadsheet software, and using them to establish and track schedules/projects

-           Experience working on fast paced deployment projects with management visibility.

-           Familiarity with Visio

-           Excellent oral and written skills in English and ability to effectively communicate at all levels.

-           Outgoing, positive attitude with past demonstrated leadership abilities

-           Uncompromising integrity and openness to project accountability and audit.
