VDOT is looking for a Sr Level .NET Developer with SSRS experience who will have the following responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications: -Design, code, test, and debug .NET applications using best practices, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability. -Collaborate with architects and other senior developers to define software architecture, making well-informed design decisions that align with VDOT ITD business needs. -Hand-on experience in both front-end and back-end development tasks, working with technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Javascript, Jquery, CSS, Web API, SSRS, SSIS and related frameworks. -Strong experience on database (MSSQL/Oracle) development such as stored procs/views/functions etc. -Strong experience in creating extensive reports using SSRS (Tabular, Matrix) -Help business users analyze data as well as providing data insight to upper management. -Experience working in agile methodology. Preferred Qualifications: -Experience working with Azure Data factory, Azure Data Lake. -Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform -Experience in using one or more Azure services (App service, AKS, Azure Container Services, Azure functions, etc) -Experience developing power BI reports -Experience developing application using Angular or Blazor Candidates with one or more experiences in the preferred qualifications are given strong consideration.
