Cloud Architect (Azure, AWS) Location: Remote Contractors: yes Years of experience- 10+ JD Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience At least 10 years experience with developing and implementing solutions using cloud solutions. Preferred Skills/Experience 8+ years of experience in designing and delivering secure cloud solutions on Azure, AWS with extensive knowledge about various cloud services. Hands on experience in Microsoft Azure services (App Service, Azure Events, Hub & Grids, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Service Fabric, Azure Service bus, API Management and other services). Deep expertise on Cloud with a proven ability to provide consulting and solution roadmaps for large scale cloud transformation, migration and cloud native development. Experience building serverless solution using Azure application services, Azure function apps, storage accounts, search services and services fabric. Extensive experience in message queuing, JMS, Enterprise Service using Azure Service Bus, and notifications etc. Experience in developing complex orchestration and mapping as well as consuming SOAP, JSON and REST APIs. Experience in DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with creating, deploying configuring, and scaling solutions in Azure. Experience designing, delivering, and sustaining CI/CD/CT Pipelines. Subject matter expert (SME) for building CI/CD/CT solutions, including governance. Experience with GitHub practices. AWS or Azure Cloud certification is a plus. Excellent verbal & writing skills; experience writing and contributing to both product & technical documentation. Experience in Agile development environment. Responsibilities Design, develop, Azure, AWS cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability and security and deliver strategy for customer. Work with customer Technical Lead and provide high-level architectural guidance and assists the team in aligning architecture to business requirements. Works across different projects to foster a culture of applying applicable and relevant design patterns, in accordance with the needs of the company and guides the teams in the organization in anticipation of future use cases. Sets the direction of the architectural roadmap working with customer Technical Lead. Coaches the engineering organization on a debugging mindset with a view of using the appropriate tools for specific needs. Leads incident response across the engineering organization as needed. Uses systematic debugging to diagnose. Drives and sets the culture of quality and timely code reviews across the organization while encouraging teams to consider release complications. Drives the organizational testing strategy and uses quality metrics to identify gaps.
