Title: Business System Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 6 to 12 months Required Skills Business Analyst with Billing, revenue, Oracle and Accounting experience, (any finance CA, Accounting education is need) Client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong background in Billing (OBRM/ Zuora Billing-Revenue/ Oracle Revenue Cloud preferred) and Finance/Accounting Functions. BSA functions as the primary point of contact between Finance process owners business users and the development team. The BSA works with the stakeholders to write finance requirements, validate tech solution to ensure finance requirements are met and tested identify solutions to business problems. The BSA analyzes business processes and user needs to create system requirements for the development team. The BSA assists in the testing of software programs to verify that the program functions according to user requirements and conforms to established guidelines. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Work closely with the key stakeholders and software developers to define and implement the software project Map current business processes, gather requirements, and evaluate alternatives, and Use a data-driven approach to prioritize process improvement work Create detailed requirement specifications/use cases for the development team, as well as process maps that allow the work to be done in less time and with improved quality Write and Facilitate User Acceptance Testing Plans Lead meetings, document notes, and ensure follow up of action items Prioritize development efforts based on business needs, aligning stakeholders to proposed solutions Work with development team to meet project schedules Manage any change requests related to the project plan to adhere to the timeline Follow up, investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production support incidents Drive change management with customers, and measure and report the value of the solutions you delivered Qualifications: 5-10 years of BSA Experience in a large-enterprise environment; proficiency with Business Process Re-engineering, Continuous Improvement and using Lean methodologies to create value with fewer resources and less waste Extensive knowledge of the features, functionality and operations of Billing and Financial Technologies at an enterprise level, including Billing, Accounts Receivable & Collections, and Revenue Recognition Strong accounting skills including those related to order to cash and revenue accounting international operations and intercompany transactions Proficient at developing intuitive from -> to process maps Previous experience using Aha, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Lucidchart and gSuite to document requirements and manage work End-to-end mindset. Systemic thinker who works across boundaries Communicates equally well with leaders, front-line employees and cross-functional groups Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
