IAM-PAM Architect Atlanta, GA 6-12+ months CTH Position Description: As a PAM Architect, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and architecting the PAM infrastructure to ensure the secure management of privileged access across our organization's IT landscape. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluate current privileged access management practices and systems, identify gaps, and design an effective and scalable PAM architecture. Define the architecture components, including privileged account discovery, access controls, session management, password management, and integration with existing systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security, compliance, and operational requirements. Lead the implementation and deployment of the PAM solution, including infrastructure setup, configuration, and integration with relevant systems. Design and implement policies, access controls, and authentication mechanisms to secure privileged accounts and ensure least privilege principles. Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to define and enforce appropriate access controls and workflows. Serve as a subject matter expert on PAM best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders on PAM-related projects and initiatives. Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in PAM technologies and security practices. Ensure that the PAM architecture and solutions align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational security policies. Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to support audits and assessments related to privileged access management. Participate in incident response and security incident investigations related to privileged accounts and access. Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Generate reports and metrics on PAM usage, access activities, and compliance for management and audit purposes.
