[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description Planview Data Analyst / Report Writer Client: TXDOT Austin, TX (Hybrid) USC/GC/GC-EAD only Video About the job The Data Analyst/Report Writer is an Information Technology (IT) support role that will administer the PMO Project Portfolio Management system of record, Planview PPMPro. PlanviewPPM software is a project portfolio management applicationwhich is configured for ITD to offer Gantt charts, schedule views, project status, lifecycle management, time tracking, and more to help improve project planning and execution. PPMPro facilitates collaborative work management where team members get workspaces to execute tasks, collaborate on projects, and ongoing team activities. This role will follow industry standards for application development, configuration, management, and governance processes to support Enterprise level projects and initiatives. The role will also collaborate with ITD internal stakeholders to provide regular updates, gather requirements, and configure user interfaces to support ITD processes. The Data Analyst/Report writer required to communicate with hiring manager on a regular basis and is responsible for managing and working to resolve incident tickets assigned through Service Now within the defined SLA, maintaining and managing all technical documentation, identify risks, issues and work proactively to develop and mitigate risks and resolve issues; maintain awareness of all vendor releases, determine integration of vendor releases into ITD instance. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS (Required) 5 Performing system analysis, application support and configuration. 5 Performing data analysis, translating requirements to create reports, dashboards and application configurations. 5 Experience managing application governance, reporting and change control tracking. 5 Experience with general IT SDLC processes. 5 Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation including development process steps and verification and validation criteria. 5 Experience following standard application change management governance standards. 5 Independently performs a variety of complicated tasks with the expectation to ideate on creative ways to resolve with a team in a collaborative, high communication environment 5 Experience creating and maintaining user interface and user experience diagrams and documentation. 5 Experience developing with Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Kanban 3 Experience working with Project Management Office portfolio management systems process improvement initiatives for establishing frameworks, procedures, processes, templates, and forms for project management activities at each stage within a project lifecycle. 3 Experience with Testing, test procedures, test artifacts, test planning, including variants of test Methodologies. 3 Experience coordinating and managing multiple projects of all sizes. Familiar with project management principles and best practices through all traditional phases as denoted by PMI 3 Experience developing and delivering End User training and documentation.
