Outside candidate not be consider Duration: 6 Months NEED THREE REFERENCES AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION WITH PHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL and WITH DL OF TEXAS As part of HHSC IT Applications Social Services Applications initiatives, the Cloud Solution Architect 2 will be responsible for: Plan and engineer organization's cloud computing infrastructure and applications. Implements and designs infrastructure and software. Ensure HHSC best practices and methodologies are applied to the design, deployment, and operations in the cloud. Define and develop blueprints and roadmaps for building solutions in the cloud (preferably AWS) Develop roadmap for cloud monitoring, implementation, and strategy Ensure compliance with enterprise security configuration standards Work closely with other teams to ensure solutions are engineered and deployed meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. Provide cloud operational guidance both internal and external operation teams Investigate and provide feedback on new AWS services and solutions. Performing continuous research on emerging technologies to stay updated with the best alternatives, investigate and provide feedback on new services and solutions offered by the CSP Providing technical oversight, review, and quality control throughout the life cycle of the implementations Engaging with Cloud service provider around solving technical problems in the Cloud ecosystem Support DevOps functions to best utilize cloud resources with software configuration management and continuous integration tools. The Cloud Solution Architect will perform other duties as assigned. Education Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, computer information systems, engineering, or management information systems is preferred. Certification: Cloud Solutions Architect Certification Cloud Infrastructure Certifications II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
