Hybrid Location: Must be on site 1 week/month in Durham, NC or Westlake, TX Preferences for Local Candidates- Durham, NC or Westlake, TX Duration: 8+ months Must Have: They are targeting someone with recent Angular experience along with Java 11 and Spring framework. Strong Java/J2EE (Version 11+) development working on enterprise level applications utilizing frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate JPA Recent experience with Angular, ngrx, rxjs or a similar framework like react is required for the first phase of the project. Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript along with CSS/HTML in recent work. Experience building RESTful Web Services & API development Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM You have good verbal and written communication skills, are able to optimally communicate with other team members and build positive relationships Understanding of Agile systems development techniques utilizing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) Ability to mentor new and junior team members Spring Batch and AWS experience is a plus Job Responsibilities: The internal application for Charitable representees is being updated, they are updating the technology and UI for multiple features for these applications. Single Page application will replace monolithic Struts application. This is being done to better manage the application and make it easier for developers to make changes.
