Location: Houston, Texas - San Ramon, CA (HYBRID) Visa: No H1B/OPT/CPT Industry:Oil and Gas Industry Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of SAP Basis experience 3+ years of experience working in a Linux environment Experience with SAP hosting on public cloud (e.g., Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS) Experience in implementing, installing, and upgrading SAP systems NetWeaver 7.4 and S/4 1609 or later Hands-on experience of HANA administration: HANA High Availability setup using HSR and cluster software (e.g., Red Hat Pacemaker) Administering SAP HANA backup. Experience in using Azure backup tool "azacsnap" is a plus Expert in development and execution of SAP Disaster Recovery strategy Experience in SAP systems monitoring using SAP Solution Manager Experience in triage and support/troubleshooting of SAP errors Experience in performance tuning to improve system performance and reliability Job Qualifications: Monitor SAP systems to ensure SAP availability, reliability, and performance Understand product line requirements to align the right resources at the right time and managing job assignments of partner resources to ensure completion of operation tasks at the highest quality Develop and evangelize best practices in the areas of automation to maximize enterprise value through efficiency and speed of delivery Provide global guidance on architecture, standards, and guardrails for the most reliable SAP operation Develop and enhance operational process by continuously improve and adapting new innovations.
