LIMS Business Analyst Kennesaw, GA Onsite Hire 6-12+ Months Contract to Hire Job Skills and Responsibilities: Business Analyst role with emphasis on LIMS experience. Minimum 5 years of experience with business analysis of Lab Information Systems R & D experience is a plus Ability to obtain and analyze requirements for Lab Information Systems Clear understanding and experience with lab instruments - data retrieval and protocols Clear understanding of dataflow requirements in LIMS systems Work with vendors to obtain information about instrument proprietary export formats Ability to gather and analyze requirements for LIMS integration with IT systems - databases and other application systems Experience with analysis of middleware systems Understanding of ELN (Electronic Notebook systems) : Experience will be a plus Coordination with lab admin and data ingestion teams Contribute to holistic solution for Lab Information Systems Understanding of basic IT networking Discuss with various stakeholders in customer R&D labs and obtain the requirements. Understand the various equipments used in the labs and document the data flow for each lab. Create documents for the business process in the lab and get sign off from stakeholders. Perform due diligence in each lab by analyzing the equipments about the data retrieval and protocol. Liaise with business managers, Solution architect and help in finalizing the solution designs for the lab systems. Provide trainings or demo to the lab users about the LIMS systems on frequent basis. Lead the LIMS system and lab process related discussions in customer and vendor meetings to accomplish the requirements. Conduct meetings with Lab SMEs to obtain requirements clearly. Involve in LIMS system testing and provide system feedbacks. Analyse the requirements and liaise with technical team through discussions to implement in the LIMS systems. Provide the clarification to the IT teams on any queries related to lab process. Analyse the Lab process and suggest changes to ensure the quality standards are followed. Attend meetings and share the updates to technical team Discuss with different IT stakeholders and ensure Novelis IT process are followed in labs.
