Required: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Proficient understanding in Systems to include Windows Server and Client, Apple Clients (MAC, iPad, iPhone), Android. Coach and develop Mentor others. Establish an environment conducive to continuous feedback. Provide direction Promote empowerment. Redirect operations as necessary to achieve objectives within projects. Clarify roles and responsibilities of team within projects. Provide small training session to allow others to grow in technical expertise. Experience in networking concepts OSI, TCP /IP, Routing and Switching, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks, and Cisco Networks. Reviews, recommends, and implements security requirements for all systems on the network. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required. Ability to cope with high levels of stress and to handle a heavy workload. Excellent communication skills required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and to represent the organization publicly. Ability to travel in light and commercial aircraft or drive his/her personal auto in order to meet all job duties and responsibilities. Current Drivers license required. Ability to meet assigned deadlines. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for all components of Cisco network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless access points, wireless LAN controllers, ASA firewalls, layer 2, layer 3 LAN/WAN support, HSRP, QoS, VLANs, bandwidth modeling and other third-party software. This includes hardware administration & testing, network validation, remote administration, systems monitoring, and integration with other enterprise applications. Designs, installs, configures, monitors, troubleshoots, and replaces networking equipment (switches, routers, wireless access points, servers, private branch exchange (PBX) systems, etc.) and network cabling and connectors infrastructure (copper, fiber, and others) for data, voice, wireless, video, virtual server, and virtual desktop network infrastructures and services inside offices, within buildings, between buildings, and at remote sites. Designs, installs, configures, monitors, troubleshoots, and replaces virtual server and virtual desktop infrastructures. Analyzes and resolves hardware and software problems. Monitors and analyzes network performance and availability against expectations, implements performance tuning, and troubleshoots a variety of moderate to complex network problems. Provides network performance statistics and reports. Design and implement IP networks to provide the company communication services to the customers over satellite and/or terrestrial network as per customer requirements. Design and implement networks in a lab environment to incorporate new products and/or customer requirements into existing networks for adding new services to the companys customer offerings. Design, implement, and maintain the companys voice infrastructure. Design voice services for customers per requirements. Configure voice systems for new customer voice services and manage them. Provide Tier 3 support for all customer services and networks. Provide network engineering services to customers by assisting them with designing and implementing new networks or improving existing networks. Create new IP network design documents. Designs, architects, & updates network documentation using Visio and other tools.
