As a Check Point Firewall Engineer, you'll be responsible for the configuration, deployment, and day to day management of our customers solution. Additionally, you'll assist in monitoring, configuration changes, Firewall rule updates, accounts, and software updates while working alongside our team of cybersecurity experts. Key Responsibilities: Maintain day to day firewall operations and continued documenting of the current environment. Execute changes on a daily or weekly basis depending on project workload. Incorporate change management into all processes and procedures as outlined by the customer. Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client issues. Maintain Firewall logging solutions, utilizing syslog-ng. Coordination with local Manager and HR for personnel concerns. And other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience with managing enterprise firewall solutions. Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Experience with managing syslog-ng application/services. Preferred Skills/Experience: Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA), Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE) Skilled in Check Point firewall platforms Prior experience with IT security devices such as Load balancers, site to site VPN and Network IPS Experience with change control policy and procedures. An understanding of ITIL processes.
