Position: POWER BI REPORT DEVELOPER ( Hybrid) Location: Manhattan, NY ( 3 Days Onsite & 2 Days Remote) Duration: 6 + Months NOTE: Client needs only Local candidates. Job Description: Your main job is to help our company manage its assets and data better. You'll work with a tool called Power BI to create reports that show important information to our teams. You'll work with different departments to understand what they need and help make sure everything is running smoothly. Here's what you'll be doing: You'll talk to different departments to understand their goals and figure out what kind of reports they need. You'll take care of the reports we already have, making sure they're working well and fixing any problems. You'll use a tool called SQL to get data and put it in the right format for reports. You'll create sample reports to show what they might look like. You'll help manage the whole process of collecting, checking, and using data. You'll work with the business lead to figure out how to make reports that help them. You'll test things to make sure they're working and help teach others how to use the reports. When we make changes or start something new, you'll be there to help and make sure things go smoothly. If anyone has a problem with the system, you'll help figure out what's wrong and how to fix it. Things You'll Be Responsible For and When: You'll help connect HxGN with Power BI reports. You'll set up Power BI to show important info to the different departments. What You Should Have: You should know about HxGN EAM or similar software for about 5 years. You should have worked in IT for about 5 years. You should have used Power BI for at least 2 years, making reports and testing data. You should be good at working with data and using tools like DAX, M, Power Query, and SQL. You should be able to work on different things at the same time and work fast when needed. If you have certificates for Microsoft Power BI or Azure, that's a plus. Knowing how to work in an Agile project style is also a plus. You should understand how databases work and be able to explain things to anyone. You need to be good at talking to both tech and non-tech people, and you'll keep everyone updated. You can handle pressure, manage your time, and start working on your own. You should be friendly and able to work with everyone in the company.
