Role : Infrastructure Business Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)- Locals 

Working Hours: 8am 5 pm AZ time

Visa: No H1b,OPT,CPT

Duration : 6 months

As an experienced Infrastructure Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and translating processes and functional needs into effective technology solutions for infrastructure projects. Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery, focusing on various aspects of
infrastructure such as networking, servers, storage, and cloud technologies.

Infrastructure BA will be focused on process flow documentation of existing and updated processes, data analytics using Excel and Power BI, and requirements gathering for upcoming projects. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Power BI experience is a plus
.

Software/SaaS licensing knowledge and experience is a plus
.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, ITIL, PMP) are a plus.

Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms. Technologies and infrastructure concepts include but are not limited to
Active Directory and access management, O365 administration, data analysis and reporting


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in infrastructure projects.

Understanding of infrastructure design and architecture principles.

Familiarity with
project management methodologies and tools.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to
lead productive meetings and whiteboard process flows and solutions
.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Understanding of security principles and best practices in infrastructure management.

Proven data analysis skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analysis: Collaborate with IT teams and technical stakeholders to understand their infrastructure requirements, goals, and objectives. Conduct thorough analysis of existing infrastructure systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.

Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for infrastructure projects. Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to identify their needs and translate them into clear and concise requirements. Thoroughly document use cases, process flows and data flows.

Solution Design: Work closely with technical teams to design infrastructure solutions that align with business requirements. Collaborate on the architecture and integration of infrastructure components, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at various levels to gather feedback, manage expectations, and communicate project updates. Build strong relationships with end users, IT teams, and senior management to ensure successful collaboration and alignment.

Project Planning and Management: Collaborate with project managers to create and maintain project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation. Assist in identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and issues related to infrastructure components.

Vendor Management: Engage and collaborate with vendors to evaluate and select infrastructure products, solutions, and services. Facilitate vendor evaluations, negotiate contracts, and ensure deliverables meet the defined requirements and quality standards.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases for infrastructure projects. Coordinate with testing teams to ensure thorough testing of infrastructure functionalities, validate solutions, and address any identified defects.

Change Management: Support change management activities by assisting in the development of training materials, user guides, and documentation for new infrastructure solutions. Provide user training and support during implementation and post-implementation phases.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in infrastructure technologies. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization, and innovation in infrastructure solutions.
