Requirements and Qualifications: Associate or bachelors degree in related field 5 years of Security Engineering related experience 2+ years Security Risk Management or Vendor Risk Management experience 1-5 years of experience in utilizing NIST Standards (800-53, 800-171, 800-82) Daily performs various risk management requests, security risk assessments for projects and 3rd party vendors, data sharing request, cloud sharing request, vendor remote access and/or security consulting Actively seeks continuous improvement opportunities and leads continuous improvement initiatives of internal processes, procedures, and standards; may consult on efforts to improve the quality of organizational processes, policies, and standards Leads and facilitates meetings and group discussions; develops and conducts formal and informal presentations and technical training classes Provides direction and leadership on all aspects of security engineering and internal IT processes; is self-managed and forward thinking and promotes team quality Supports/ consults on team members' performance management; coaches team members on interacting with others outside of their work group.
