As part of a team, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance of SAP systems such as client/system copies, deployment/testing of SAP support packages and patches, and server configurations. Responsibilities include all areas of SAP Basis: SAP architecture, correction and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling, Early watch and Go-live checks, performance tuning and disaster recovery testing. You will support all the existing SAP instances by performing SAP Basis support for system and kernel upgrades, refreshes, testing cycles and implementation of new requirements. Perform daily monitoring and oversight. Ensure the project is always operating with SAP Basis best practices. Work with technical and functional team members to ensure that solutions are secure and scalable. You will evaluate trend analysis to detect long-term performance problems and prevent performance degradation; execute processes as defined by management including incident handling, change and problem management; support many concurrent projects often managing conflicting timelines; research issues, new technology, and adhere to secure best practices. Will also participate in rotating on call to cover off hours and weekend incidents. Will work cross-functionally with other technology groups to support the SAP landscape; coordinate external access requirements in support of interfaces; document procedures, logical, physical diagrams. This position requires 10+ years of experience managing SAP on-premise and cloud SAP OS/DB migrations, preferably to Azure. Strong experience in HANA Administration is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and substantial experience in a wide range of SAP systems for both technical and application-related aspects of SAP systems environments is a must. Position requires expert-level knowledge of the following SAP Functional Areas: S/4HANA, HANA, PI/PO, BW, BI, ABAP, JAVA Stack, ECC, Fiori, Solution Manager, CHaRM, HR. Must have experience in ECC 6.0 or greater, SAP BW, PI, and UI5/Fiori. Must have knowledge of hardware, software, infrastructure, server architecture and enterprise technology best practices. Significant experience in at least 2 other SAP or peripheral systems is preferred. This should include Business Objects BI, SMP, Content server, Mobillink, Sabrix, BSI, SLAN (Nakisa) Also need experience working in a cloud-hosted environment; Java, PI and GRC support and troubleshooting; experience in Solman test suite, Soldoc, TECHMON and BPMON; strong Experience in BOBJ/BODS; and, Knowledge Management - Ability to do process documentation and quick reference guides. Proven experience in leading large cross-functional teams through all phases of implementing solutions, delivering valuable products and services on time, within budget, and within compliance of internally required and externally mandated standards and practices. Effective verbal and written communication with peers and all levels of management a must. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a technical field is required.
