Creating table indexes to improve database performance. Programming views, stored procedures, and functions/triggers Writing queries used for reporting and downstream data processes. Reviewing query performance and optimizing code. Able to take direction and work autonomously. Administering and documenting data dictionaries, requirements, specifications, data models and topology aides Discuss and document evolving business requirements with business units, functions, management, and users. Supports and troubleshoots SSIS job failures with IT. Works with IT to ensure end to end processes are aligned. This position may have high level access to all IT systems in the company, as necessary. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree or higher in Information Technology, Math or related degree, preferred. Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Visual Studio, and SQL Server Integration Services required. Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Services, preferred. Business Intelligence experience (Business Objects, Oracle, Tableau), preferred. Experience working with project teams preferred. MS Suite including MS Project and Visio, preferred.
