Leading and implementing testing automation and manual testing Documentation: test strategy, test plans, test cases, technical design documents for test automation QA testing experience: functional, integration, end-to-end, backend, regression, smoke testing Review sprint stories and work with PMs/Developers/internal customers to ensure needed scenarios are added to regression testing suite Understand functionality and experience with black box/white box testing Test data setup (copying production data to test environments) Maintain environments. Upgrade, install and configure software (Java etc) for automation suite Ability to select scenarios for automated vs. manual testing Establishing QA processes and procedures Jira expertise: Functional knowledge of Jira workflow and usage Testing Automation Technologies Current automation solution runs on Windows OS. Java is the main programming language. Sikuli API: used for automation architecture. Sikuli is an open-source tool and used for test automation for desktop applications using images. Sikuli libraries are integrated within Java code and used for application testing using images Selenium: Open-source framework used to automate testing processes over web applications. Selenium webdriver is used within Eclipse/Java Test automation Log 4j framework: used to capture logs throughout the execution of flows. Maven: used to build automation suite. TestNG: testing framework for the Java programming language inspired by JUnit and NUnit (3+ yrs.) Postman: used to check web services are working ADO (Intermediate level): Set up and configure ADO agents and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with DevSecOps (1+ yrs.) Gradle: Build automation tool Github (Functional knowledge): Source code versioning tool. Ability to checkout code, make changes, commit code. Troubleshoot issues with certificates. (1+ yrs.) Power batch scripting (Intermediate level): Ability to write scripts to stop/start processes and integrate them within Java application. Ability to write custom scripts to initiate a process, service stop/start as part of CI/CD pipelines, setting up ADO agents, etc. (1+ yrs.)
