Tableau Server Qualified Associate or Professional certification Experience training resources in use of Tableau Server. Job Description: System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective installation/configuration, operation, and initial maintenance of Tableau. Responsibilities include systems administration, installation of application software, operations, and support/ maintenance to ensure that an initial server application installation of Tableau is functioning optimally. Should be experienced in performing installations of Tableau. Talent must also provide cross-training to existing staff and document steps associated with the configuration and installation of software to fit the environment. Install new Tableau Server according to best practices and ensure compliance with data governance policies. - Transfer data from prior server installation for use in new server platform. Provide updates and knowledge transfer of the latest Tableau Server features, functionalities, and industry trends, and make recommendations for process improvements. Collaborate with our internal teams, including infrastructure, data analysts, developers, and business owners, to understand their requirements. Tableau Admin will contribute to the end-to-end design and development of the services, processes, policies, and procedures. Tableau Admin will implement, provision, and administer the Tableau Shared Services. Provide guidance and document best practices for system backups, disaster recovery plans, and securityprotocols. Assist in setup and management of user permissions and access levels, ensuring necessary access to reports, dashboards, and data sources. Contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts and documentation creation related to Tableau Server administration processes and procedures. Provide technical support to Tableau Server users, troubleshooting issues and addressing user needs withinnew installation. Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize Tableau Server configurations for optimalefficiency and reliability. Other Tableau administration requests as needed.
