What you'll be doing: Design, lead engineering team, implement, and maintain business application products related to Global Portals and application services domain end-to-end Design efficient re-usable UI frameworks to help the needs of feature teams spanning across the globe with cloud engineering Provide technical leadership and vision in design, implementation for multiple application areas within dealer space by working with engineering teams to support global product and services Oversee evaluation progress, daily-activity status, and overall key project activities on a day-to-day basis Manage engineering teams to drive new initiatives in a fast-paced environment Manage internal and external dependencies, collaborate with stakeholders and product managers, operations, and customer research teams to deliver Toyota's business objectives Work in a Global delivery framework to plan and manage solutions rollout to other Toyota regions across the globe. E2E accountability of delivery of global rollouts against agreed goals. Maintain and improve existing codebases and contribute technically to the overall engineering processes followed in Connected Technologies Collaborate with regional representatives and provide global inputs to the product architecture, implementation, and development processes Subject Matter Expert and first point of contact on Connected technologies' solutions towards stakeholders. Work with cross-functional engineering teams, UI/UX, and QA to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates Gather requirements, design, document, and collaborate with other engineering teams to manage all the dependencies Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases working with engineering product teams Adapt new technologies, tools, and processes from the organization as needed Communicate well with team members and suppliers and work collaboratively Provide technical leadership to build high-quality performant solutions that scale well conforming to internal and industry standard Collaborate with Product Managers, Tech Leads, UI/UX, and help build backlogs for product Identify and encourage the adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes for the organization as needed Excellent problem-solving skills with knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset and a desire for creative problem solving What you bring: Strong experience in Portals, ReactJS, Angular, Java, NodeJS, GoLang, AWS cloud stack, Kubernetes Framework and/or with a solid understanding of cloud DevOps model Development experience in building enterprise systems specially focused in the retail, mobile apps & inventory management domain Proficient in clean architecture, API design, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization Added bonus if you have: Having a good grasp of building customer-facing Portal systems and exposure in the dealers domain area is a big plus Deep knowledge in building products for retail, inventory, and e-commerce domains and relevant design patterns, and applying those to project solutions Experience collaborating with design, analytics, and product teams to improve user experiences. Prior knowledge of working in mobile & retail domain is highly desirable and building enterprise scale systems Strong automotive domain knowledge in building or supporting applications related REGARDS.
