Workday HRIS QA Consultant - Talent Management, Workday Payroll, Workday Compensation Management Princeton, NJ 6-12+ months Responsibilities:- 1) Analyze product requirements and ensures that the testing strategy aligns a risk-based test approach mitigating risk exposure within all phases of testing; utilizes automated testing tools to continuously build an automated regression test suite. 2) Create test strategies, test estimation and all planning activities. 3) Work in an Agile environment using Scrum and Kanban methodologies .4) Develop, maintain and execute automated and manual test scripts for functional and non-functional requirements validation, integration, regression and usability testing and identifies any concerns and able to design and test end-to-end scenarios across features and applications. 5) Experience in Workday business processes testing including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Payroll modules. 6) Perform functional, non-functional and data testing; examines code and execution of code in various environments; verifies specific action or function of code; performs application security audit tests as needed 7) Follow quality assurance standards and track quality assurance activities; maintain understanding of current and new testing technologies. 8) Review and maintain all project documentation in accordance with department procedures including test artifacts, test plans, test data management, test scenarios and requirements traceability matrices/status reports related to the testing process and communicate effectively with team members at all levels. 9) Support testing of application and environmental upgrades as well as resolution of production issues 10) Collaborate effectively within a scrum team with both technical and non-technical team members Qualifications:- 1) 3+ years of related HRIS/Workday functional knowledge in Talent Acquisition and Performance Management processes and/or applications. 2) Functional knowledge in US and International Payroll Preferred. 3) Experience with change management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps). 4) Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. 5) Proficient knowledge of web-based testing, cloud-based testing, integrated application testing and analytics testing. 6) 3+ years of experience and responsibility for designing, building and executing systems integration testing; user acceptance testing; automated regression testing; and quality review processes. 7) Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, QA methodologies, defect management system, and documentation. 8) High standards of confidentiality; ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and trust. 9) Excellent customer service skills and strong ability to manage business relationships. 10) Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written), and to lead/mentor others. 11) Proactive, great attention to detail, confident individual with ability to work with various teams and ability to meet aggressive deadlines with commitment to quality. 12) Lead Lessons Learned or Project Review sessions, and identify potential work process improvements.
