What You Will Be Doing Configure and monitor daily backup jobs, plus doing any backup restore operations as needed. Monitoring backups and recovering failed backups Maintain backup policies and standards and topology and process documentation. Maintain all equipment for backup environment to include servers, disk, tape, and other offline storage devices. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree in MIS / CIS or equivalent job experience. A minimum of 3-5 yrs+ years of service (depending on job level), providing technical and organizational support for in-scope technologies. Experience with Dell EMC / Isilon & Unity arrays. Experience managing Enterprise Storage & Backups in a VMware environment using SAN. Experience with Dell EMC Avamar Experience with configuring client-based Windows. Manage backup schedules and perform regular backups to ensure data recoverability. Experience with troubleshooting backup failures. Experience in disaster recovery.
