Your primary responsibilities will be to take existing user stories and follow the software development life cycle (SDLC) process to: design, develop, test, and release software applications that meet the needs of the Philips Ultrasound Factory Automation Supply Chain. You will be collaborating with local software engineers as well as offshore teams, focused on delivering end-user facing applications. For this role, collaborative problem solving and producing quality product is essential. Responsibilities o Translate application use cases, existing backlog, and requirements into functional/released applications o Quickly come up to speed and refactor existing .NET applications to incorporate Web API and WCF services o Architect, develop, test, and release C# applications within the complete software development life cycle o Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications o Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems o Write and execute unit test scripts on developed applications prior to release o Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation o Write documentation and validation protocols that meet regulatory standards and templates Skills o 2-5 years on the job experience in software development using the latest Microsoft ASP .NET Technologies and relational databases including SQL Server o Excellent programming skills using C#, MVC 5 and SQL server o Experience in various API architectures including REST and SOAP web services o Proficient in Web programming languages including: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery o Experience in object-oriented software, web, and Windows Forms development, distributed database design for high performance, and concurrent usage o Experience in automated unit/UI testing, scripting, continuous integration o Experience in writing documentation, preferred experience in a quality-controlled environment i.e., FDA o Experience in Microsoft Infrastructure and Versioning Tools IIS, Windows Server, Azure, Visual Studio, Git, and Team Foundation Version Control o Knowledge in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Services o Demonstrated experience in integration of hardware and software tools o Knowledge of design patterns and coding best practices for scalability o Candidate with bachelors degree in CS, EE or related disciplines with multiple years of relevant work experience Preferred skills o Additional web-based programming languages: XML, XSLT stylesheets, Bootstrap o Additional JavaScript libraries: React, AngularJS, jQuery o Understanding of SAP interfaces including: RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services o Experience with Manufacturing Execution software, ex.
