As an SAP FTM (Financials and Treasury Management) Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP FTM module to meet the specific financial and treasury management needs of the organization. Your expertise in SAP FTM, along with your understanding of financial processes, will be crucial in delivering effective solutions and supporting the successful implementation of SAP FTM. Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage the implementation, configuration, and customization of the SAP FTM module. 2. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific financial and treasury management requirements, translating them into technical solutions within the SAP FTM module. 3. Configure and customize the SAP FTM module to meet the unique needs of each client, including chart of accounts setup, budgeting and funds management, cash and liquidity management, grants management, and financial reporting. 4. Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as finance, treasury, and IT, to ensure the integration of SAP FTM with other relevant SAP modules, such as SAP ERP Financials (FI) and Controlling (CO). 5. Conduct business process analysis, identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing financial processes, and propose best practices and improvements leveraging the capabilities of SAP FTM. 6. Design and develop functional specifications for customizations and enhancements to the SAP FTM module, collaborating with technical teams for implementation. 7. Perform system testing, including integration testing and user acceptance testing, to ensure the SAP FTM solution meets client requirements and functions seamlessly with other SAP modules. 8. Provide end-user training and support during the implementation and post-implementation phases to ensure successful user adoption and system utilization. 9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP FTM module, working closely with technical teams to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions. 10. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in SAP FTM, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the module's functionalities and proposing system improvements. 11. Collaborate with project managers and other consultants to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. 12. Document functional specifications, system configurations, and user manuals for future reference and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 2. Proven experience as an SAP FTM Consultant or similar role, with a strong focus on implementing and supporting the SAP FTM module. 3. In-depth knowledge of SAP FTM module functionalities, including budgeting and funds management, cash and liquidity management, grants management, and financial reporting. 4. Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, preferably in the public sector domain. 5. Strong understanding of public sector financial processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. 6. Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP FTM module functionalities to meet specific client needs. 7. Familiarity with integration between SAP FTM and other SAP modules, such as SAP ERP Financials (FI) and Controlling (CO). 8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and propose effective solutions. 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders. 10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
