Job Description: Responsibilities: Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines on databricks platform Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of solutions Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using databricks notebooks and Apache Spark Conduct data exploration and analysis to identify patterns, trends and insights using SQL, Spark SQL Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to databricks infrastructure, performance, and data quality Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience with Apache Spark and its ecosystem, including Spark SQL, Spark Streaming, and Spark MLlib. 2+ years of experience and proficient in at least one programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java. 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and Kafka. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers effectively. Understanding of software development best practices, version control and CI/CD pipelines Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
