Business Analyst with FR 2052a

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) 3-5+ years of experience in a similar BA role reviewing, updating, and otherwise documenting requirements

2)
Recent professional experience with FR 2052a demonstrated in related project work

3) 3-5+ years of experience doing User Acceptance Testing and experience within data analysis in some capacity (could be related to project work and doesnt have to be technical, more at a high level collecting, analyzing, presenting, etc)

4) 3-5+ years experience with financial institutions with a focus in global banking and market products

5) Exceptional MS Office skills (Excel pivot tables)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

- Previous experience with the regulatory reporting platform Axiom would be helpful

- Experience with US liquidity regulations is preferred

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal

- Candidate must be able to articulate their thoughts concisely

- Candidate must have the ability to be a leader in their environment, and participate in group forums, discussions, etc to bring in new ideas and a new thought process

- Must be able to take own ideas/process and combine them with the banks

- This position requires a detailed driven individual and there is a strong need to be able to multi-task it what can be sometimes a stressful environment.

Degrees or certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance/technology disciplines a combination of the two is ideal but the finance side is more appealing

Typical Day in Role

- Support internal and regulatory reporting processes including the execution of tasks and processes

- Ensure internal control points are reviewing and providing feedback on reporting, as necessary, within agreed upon SLAs

- Participate in workshops to flesh out and problem solve certain requirements, defects, or questions as they pertain to regular liquidity reporting

- Work with stakeholders to track open BAU issues and provide feedback on next steps and resolution

- Understand and communicate the impact of liquidity metrics produced via the liquidity reporting

- Support the Tplus2 project implementation including:

- The candidate will support the drafting of BRDs, creating test cases, executing test cases, identifying defects, and working with technology teams to remediate defects.

- Support user Acceptance Testing of Technologys development before implementation into production

- Understanding of the Federal Reserves FR 2052a rules and to reflect changes in the business requirements documents.

- Participate in workshops to flesh out and problem solve certain requirements, defects, or questions as it pertains to project work

- Analysis of data used in the reporting of the FR 2052a, and working with Data, Technology and Business groups to determine data gaps which would impede the reporting of the FR 2052a. This would provide input into the data mapping and Technology owned functional requirements.

- Creation and execution of the User Acceptance Test cases.

- Consulting with members of the US Treasury Reporting and Analytics team for their subject matter expertise on systems and BNS specific data.

- Working closely with the FR 2052a Project Team to report and resolve any issues.

- Consolidating work and working into overall program initiative

- Where necessary, assist with overall project administration and

- Chasing actions items that are open that impact the overall project
