Certifications preferred. LinkedIn profile preferred. ** Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Epic Finance and Azure Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud infrastructure and services, combined with expertise in Epic Hospital Billing, Epic Professional Billing, and the Clarity database. This role will involve designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform while ensuring seamless integration with Epic healthcare systems, specifically in the finance and billing domains. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, billing, and IT departments, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable Azure infrastructure to support Epic finance and billing applications, including Epic Hospital Billing and Epic Professional Billing. Ensure effective integration and data exchange between Epic EHR modules and Azure cloud services, with a specific focus on finance and billing data. Configure and optimize Azure services such as virtual machines, storage, networking, security, and identity management to meet the performance and security requirements of Epic applications. Work closely with database administrators to manage and optimize the Clarity database for efficient data storage, retrieval, and reporting. Collaborate with Epic analysts and end-users to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to finance and billing systems, including interfaces, workflows, and data integrity. Monitor Azure infrastructure and services, implement proactive measures for security, performance, and availability, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Stay updated with the latest Azure cloud technologies, Epic releases, and industry trends to provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience as an Azure Engineer, with in-depth knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and services. Strong understanding of Epic Hospital Billing and Epic Professional Billing modules, including their configuration, workflows, and integration points. Familiarity with the Clarity database and its role in supporting Epic finance and billing processes. Experience with healthcare finance and billing systems, including claims processing, revenue cycle management, and compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or other relevant languages. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in an Epic environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users. Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) and Epic certifications (e.g., Epic HB or PB) are a plus.
