There is layer(either prime vendor or implementation partner) between me and End client. -------- JOB DESCRIPTION : Title : Data Architect Location : Tallahassee, FL(onsite) Duration : 12+ Months Visa : No H1B NON-NEGOTIABLE: 7+ y of exp designing and constructing data architectures, data modeling, and database design Oracle data migration exp PREFERRED : exp writing complex queries and develop complex PL/SQL database objects, data warehousing, modeling, and data mining, *NIX-style shell scripts and scheduling, gov exp. Requirements: Availability to work at the Clients site in Tallahassee, FL (required); Experience designing and constructing data architectures, data modeling, and database design (7+ years) Experience with relational database design, data processing, and data communications Experience with databases Experience with data migration technologies Experience in writing complex queries and develop complex PL/SQL database objects (preferred); Experience of data warehousing, modeling, and data mining (preferred); Experience with *NIX-style shell scripts and scheduling (preferred); Experience with FLAIR (preferred); Experience with PeopleSoft (preferred); Experience with Cloud (preferred); Bachelors degree in one of the computer sciences fields or in management information systems or five years of work experience in information technology, systems analysis, management analysis, or working with large and complex database management systems. Responsibilities : Perform analysis of the Division of Administrations current database landscape. Document the current database environment, providing entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams. Perform analysis of current FLAIR interfaces. Perform analysis of future PALM interfaces. Provide detailed documentation for the optimal design for housing and accessing PALM interface data, with details describing performance, scalability, data quality, archiving, and settings. Develop migration and integration plans for extraction, transformation, and load of data as required. Provide detailed documentation for the optimal design for housing and accessing legacy FLAIR data with details describing performance, data quality, and settings. Provide data management strategy for the PALM Chart of Accounts ChartField strings and agency specific ChartField values for the Department.
