Cloud Architect (hybrid: 3 days/week onsite) Tallahassee, FL Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite. Visa- H4 EAD, GC EAD, USC, GC Requirements: Availability to work 3 days per week on the Clients site in Tallahassee, FL (required); Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Architecture (2-3 years); Experience in systems engineering or another related field (5-8+ years); Experience with Enterprise Architecture (2-3 years); Experience with Microsoft Azure Services; Experience with Microsoft Server products; Experience with Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu); Experience with .Net application development in a DevOps environment (highly preferred); Experience in administration of ESRI GIS software (highly preferred, 2-3 years); Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP (highly preferred, 2-3 years); Experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (highly preferred, 5+ years); Microsoft Azure certification (highly preferred); Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or another related field (4 years of experience can substitute for education). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment; Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions; Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services; Resolve production release issues across business and technology teams, as well as broader strategic or systemic issues that are creating inefficiencies or hindering progress; Enhance application and system monitoring solutions to ensure the right staff get the right alerts; Automate processes wherever possible; Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines; Troubleshoot development issues brought forth by developers and other architects; Present to your peers findings of new technologies, enterprise-wide issues, and enhancements you have made to better the mission.
