Provides expert application and technical support to ensure that interface efforts are optimally planned, documented, validated, adhere to standards, and maintained. In addition, assist with production support and troubleshooting of instrument interface and application configuration. Engages in problem management identification and resolution activities within the applications. Assists Laboratory staff and instrument vendors with setup and testing. Coordinate and communicate with various levels of management and staff including business, clinical, and IS departments while assisting with technical aspects of clinical lab interface implementation, rollout, and support. Collaborate application team and customers design and test scripts. Develop high level interface designs and solutions. Prepare specifications and clear, concise, and accurate validation documents. Obtain and document interface design changes and enhancement specifications. Participate in and lead the interface installation and configuration of application. Provide expert analysis of new requirements or enhancements to existing interface and related systems as well as prepare specifications and documentation. Participate in implementation upgrades to production interfaces and related applications as well as make configuration changes to assigned areas. Consult with clients and vendors to identify and resolve problems and follow through to ensure final resolution. Maintain overall system functionality and effectiveness including troubleshooting and recovery. Review and manage various system log files and error reports. Maintain assigned tables and files as well as write updates and new test scripts for testing in assigned areas. Write new and update existing test scripts for all phases of testing within assigned areas as well as test changes and configurations using established testing scripts and procedures. Requirements: Expertise in Clinical Laboratory instrument interface development on Clinisys/Sunquest Lab system and/or Data Innovation. Familiarity with Epic HER Excellent Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups. Clinical Laboratory Sciences - CLS/MT or equivalent.
