http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=385867&uid= From: Aakanksha Singh, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: SDET Location: Lansing, MI Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 remote) Duration: 6 month - extension likely Description: Works with teams to understand user stories and the testing requirements Develops/updates test cases in the test care management tool and maintain traceability between user stories and test cases Develops/updates test plan to document testing requirements Creates reusable test cases/test modules to minimize maintenance of test cases Utilizes the test case management tool to execute test cases to ensure thorough testing of the user story using standard testing procedures and documents the test results Collaborates with team members to ensure that the test cases validate the user story completely and ensure that no unintended application changes have occurred. Test web services using Postman or Cucumber. Ensures that edge cases are documented and tested Determines test cases that should be automated as part of the automated regression suite. May develop or maintain automated test scripts using UFT, Java and Selenium. Extracts data from databases by developing and updating SQL queries. Understands the database structures and the impact of application changes. Reviews, results of automated test cases and works with impacted resources to update test cases as necessary. Manually executes failed automated test cases when necessary. Follows agile practices and actively participates in all agile team ceremonies and meetings. Maintains technical/professional knowledge by continued training and reading industry publications in order to continue to support the business and maintain knowledge of best practices for testing.
