If you do not have suitable profiles share the hot-list Job Title- SAP Data Services Architect Location- Initial remote- Kansas City Job Description- Responsible to understand and analyze IBM Datastage batch jobs, logic, or business requirements, create and review designs of SAP Data services batch jobs per logic found in IBM Datastage ETL, validate the architecture, amend design changes when required and ensure high levels of service offerings to customer Responsible also to understand existing Unix and ksh scripts that are written and being called from Datastage Participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews Provide SAP Data Services development support to larger development team Exposure in BODS performance tuning techniques using parallel processing (Degree of Parallelism), Multithreading, Partitioning, and Database Throughputs to improve job performance Experience in different types of transformations like Query transformation, Merge, Case, Validations, Map- operation, History Preserving and Table Comparison transformations Understanding of common business functional areas to understand applications using both IBM Datastage and SAP Data Services Understanding the basic migration steps for ETL tool migration process.
