Configuration Management is one of the IT Service Management (ITSM) practice areas, including Change, Incident, Problem, Asset, Request and Knowledge Management. The Configuration Management practice includes two areas: Enterprise/ Service Configuration Management: focuses on the inventory of objects (Configuration Items), such as applications and infrastructure elements, and the relationships between them. The Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is the repository containing this inventory. Component/ Baseline Configuration Management: focuses on common security and technology attributes (or baselines) shared between classes of Configuration Items. What you are good at: Identify opportunities to create or improve processes related to Configuration Management Execute process improvements Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop models and share recommendations that address strategic and process challenges Establish and maintain dashboards and reports showing Configuration item data completeness Identify automation opportunities and partner with CMDB/Remedy tool team You have Ability to demonstrate analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work in a collaborative environment. Qualified candidates must have a specific portfolio of experience and skills that includes: Recognized SME of the Remedy ITSM product Configuration Management 5+ years of IT Service Management process knowledge and experience Ability to organize work tasks from identification and assignment, to execution and implementation Motivated by automation and process improvements Excellent documentation, workflow and procedure documentation skills Self-starter, highly motivated individual, and a team player who adapts to a dynamic work environment and with strong desire for learning new approaches Thanks.
