Work alongside developers to improve local development environments, integrate automated software testing, build deployment pipelines, and provide recommendations based on industry best practices. Essential Responsibilities: 75% Software Infrastructure Design/Development Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure to support continuous integration and delivery of proprietary software packages with campus-wide impact using CI/CD pipelines. Design, develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure and tooling that automates critical software development functions, including building, testing, and deploying proprietary software packages to improve the resiliency of campus-wide and multi-campus systems in pursuit of continuous operations cloud-native services. Establish monitoring and response systems for legacy, monolithic, and modern, highly distributed software systems to detect load imbalances and abnormal usage patterns, track critical performance metrics, and respond to degradations before they affect the customer experience. Create automated deployment pipelines for applications in the Enterprise Student Applications portfolio. Containerize existing applications. 20% System Analysis, Support, and Security Participate in and lead planning efforts for new, highly complex functionality/systems with little or no precedent. Analyze and document requirements and provide estimates of programming effort and durations on all assigned projects. Participate in technical reviews of designs for code modications or custom extensions to core applications and infrastructure. Scan applications for known dependency and configuration vulnerabilities. 10% Documentation and Governance Write functional and detailed technical specications for application code and infrastructure developed. Document DevOps standards, including pipeline best practices and how-to guides. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Expert-level DevOps experience managing build and deployment pipelines within a Windows/IIS server environment Extensive experience developing enterprise-level web applications using ASP.NET/C# Experience with complex SQL queries and relational database architecture using Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server Extensive experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub Experience working with a standardized Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its corresponding tools for diagraming, version control, documentation, and code migration Experience using organization and analytical skills to assume general assignments, simultaneously work on multiple projects, work with competing priorities and deadlines and independently follow projects through to completion Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline or Jenkins Experience with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker Experience with testing automation tools such as Selenium Experience with cloud computing technologies such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure Experience writing application software or test suites in an object-oriented language such as C#, JavaScript or Java Keywords: csharp continuous integration continuous deployment green card California http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=372439&uid= |
