Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience required. PMP Certification or equivalent preferred. Experience with gathering requirements from the client / business. Experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies. Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office applications with experience presenting to stakeholders and/or Senior Leadership. Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs. Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Creation of comprehensive project plans to include resourcing, budget, design, build, testing, training, change management, communication, and go-live plans, aligned with department requirements. Ability to work independently with the appropriate partners to define and finalize planning, financial requirements, risk determination, resource assignment, stakeholder management, and governance to ensure projects are implemented accordingly. Manage a variety of diverse - and sometimes conflicting requests, priorities, and activities. Communication skills to interact with people at all levels, from team members to senior executives across the organization. Acts as a leader on projects demonstrating information technology expertise, translating that expertise into solutions for customers. Must have exceptional leadership skills, experience managing and leading in a complex, matrixed environment. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Identifies resource needs and coordinates allocation of resources to deliver quality standards on time and within budget. Creates and executes required project deliverables and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. In addition, creates and manages project lifecycles within appropriate project management tools. May provide guidance to functional areas in development and execution of projects to manage/reduce risk and deliver projected business outcomes. Provides frequent and effective communication to the project team, Sponsor, Leadership and Organization. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytics as requested by the leadership. Job Description: A client of Insight Global is seeking an IT Project Manager I to join their team. The IT Project Manager I will manage all aspects of multiple diverse technical projects with limited guidance from initiation to delivery, within multiple disciplines of the IT organization and business units. The individual will be accountable for providing project management leadership by developing detailed project plans through planning and managing all implementation processes. This includes progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery while integrating vendor tasks, tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables (if applicable) into the plan. Responsible for leading internal/external technical resources for project delivery. Monitors dependencies across projects (vendor tasks and tracking) and responsible for providing analysis, forecasting, and modeling, to align resource requirements within the projects.
