Provide training and guidance to Service Desk staff to evolve the BPX Service Desk Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Telecommuting Software, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless, and General End User connectivity issues. Support Network functions of cloud environments by being able to troubleshoot and deploy network security groups, private cloud connectivity, etc. Implement new firewall rules at the request of project teams. Vet and understand network diagrams, updating them when necessary. Assist with project tasks from the Network Engineering team as time permits Create KB articles to help with the resolution of recurring issues Escalate issues as needed to engineering teams. Communicate and document issues via ServiceNow. 1. Palo Alto firewalls Must possess an understanding of the following features: Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, URL Categories, Security Policies, NAT, VPN, and Virtual Routers. 2. Cisco Routing and Switching OSPF, BGP, VLANs, HSRP. Knowledge of operational level troubleshooting commands and data collection. 3. Cisco Wireless Ability to troubleshoot access points, assign AP profiles, and troubleshoot end user connectivity issues. 4. Microsoft Azure Problem determination regarding; Route Tables, Express Route, vNets, Subnets, and Network Security Groups. 5. Amazon Web Services Problem determination regarding; Transit Gateways, VPCs, Route Tables, Direct Connect, Security Groups.
