Must Haves: - SharePoint Online - Create SharePoint permission groups - O365 - Support - Interest in learning and supporting - Create modern SharePoint site - Connect to a hub - Add web parts Loose on: - Dynamics Job Description Reporting directly to the IT Systems Supervisor, the Office 365 Administrator/SharePoint Online Administrator serves on a team of IT professionals supporting the Montgomery County Department of Parks and Planning. Responsibilities include providing Tier 2 support for Office 365 issues submitted to the help desk, serving as an administrator for SharePoint Online, and serving as administrator for Dynamics 365. As a SharePoint Administrator, responsible for enhancing and maintaining an existing SharePoint classic site collection, as well as developing a new SharePoint modern hub. As a Dynamics Administrator, develops a general knowledge of the system as-built and is the primary point of contact for Microsoft Dynamics-related issues and inquiries. Work involves creating and organizing technical documentation and user guides, account management in on-prem Active Directory, and general support for Microsoft Teams. To be successful in this role, the Office 365/Sharepoint Online Administrator must effectively manage their time, solve problems creatively, and serve alongside teammates to get the job done. Examples of Important Duties Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting and resolve issues within the Office 365. Resolve user issues related to licensing, email accounts/aliases, and permissions. Manage user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365. Familiar with PowerShell scripts to perform administrative tasks, remediate issues, and develop specialized queries and reports. Manage SharePoint Online permissions, create lists/libraries, create workflows using Power Automate, document management requests, and other administrative tasks. Familiar with Dynamics. Act as primary point of contact for Microsoft Dynamics related issues and inquires. Identify opportunities for improvement and understanding the functional capabilities and limitations of Dynamics 365. Provide Microsoft Teams administration support, including phone number assignment and updating Call Queues and Auto Attendants. Create and organize technical documentation and conduct user trainings. Occasional travel to Parks sites (valid drivers license required). Weekend coverage rotation, as needed. Important Skills and Characteristics Comprehensive understanding of information technology concepts and best practices. Thorough understanding of project management principles and execution. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation. Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening. Ability to communicate technical information to fellow team members, non-technical staff, and Commission leadership. Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies. Must have the ability to multitask. Preferred Skills and Experience Knowledge of Windows 10 Experience with IT asset inventory management.
