IP appliances like F5/ A10/ Fortinet/ SRX Loadbalancers and firewalls Minimum Requirement 8+ years of experience required, extensive experience with LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and Certification Experience with testing design and certification of products in LAB environments CCNP/ CCIE-level experience. Strong Knowledge of working with protocols such as OSPF, BGP, QoS, IPSec, PIM Strong Experience with Cisco Platforms such as Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ ASR Experience with MAB/ Port Security/ NAC/ 802.1x Strong Knowledge of Certification of new code, and bug Scrubs on IOS/ XE/ NXOS/ and limited XR Experience with Arista Platforms such as 7280, 7504, 7260, 7150, 7800, et al. Experience developing strategies with multiple vendors Experienced with creating design documents for each certification which includes engineering guidelines. Experience with Tools such as IXIA to test and certify various designs, and troubleshoot networks issues. SKILLS REQUIRED Expert knowledge IP Routing BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, L2-VPNs, Spanning-tree protocol Understanding of network protocols, network platforms such as Cisco/Juniper/Arista to design and troubleshoot new implementation. Multicast: IGMPv2/3, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, AutoRP, BSR, Static RP, RP-Anycast, MSDP IP Routing Platforms ISR, ASR1K, Catalyst, Arista L2 and L3 QoS Cisco Switching Platforms Cat3K, 4K, 6K, 9k Extensive knowledge of Switching and Switching mechanisms like CEF, TCAM Extensive Knowledge on Timing is a plus Extensive Knowledge Ultra Low Latency is a plus Understanding of new protocols being deployed intra and inter Data Center, eg VXLAN,NV-GRE, eVPN) Data Center power and cooling, cabling 10/ 25G/ 40G/ 50G/ 100G desired Cloud computing, Virtualization industry standard and trends, server technologies a plus Router hardening technologies, DDoS mitigation, routing protocol encryption, SSH implementation, out-of-band network design, 802.1x, NAC, IPSec Manage vendor, coordinate testing and evaluate PoC Possess ability to quickly and effectively interpret data.
