Job Description: BI Developer for a Power BI platform that spans multiple LOBs in Capital Markets and Treasury. The candidate must be highly motivated, have a positive outlook, and be a team player. The Work Itself Engage directly with business and technology partners to understand objectives to deliver analytic-centric solutions. Support rapid prototyping activities that will validate business requirements, confirm solution definition and manage risk appropriately. Produce training and documentation while establishing best practices to be communicated to analytic communities. Works directly with team members from business sectors and the applications development team. Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks. Uses technical knowledge, creativity, and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems Use judgment, creativity, and sound technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions. May interface with senior management to convey information. Supporting a team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary looking for opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments Creating an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart Mandatory Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience Overall, 8+ years of experience in Reporting and analytics space. 4+ years of experience developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop. Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence. Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals. Experience in dealing with Power BI application-level security. Capable of implementing row-level & object-level security in Power BI. Should have the edge over making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set. Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards. Expert in formatting and visual representation. Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.
