Responsibilities: Gather requirements for larger complex IT and business critical projects Serve as a conduit between business SMEs and technology partners to determine methods to elicit and document consistent Business and Functional requirements and gain stakeholder alignment and ensure desired results Provides assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements Provide mentorship to inexperienced Business Analysts When needed, assist with the development and execution of test plans Works with user groups to assist with training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes Requirements: MUST have Workday Finance and Accounting experience MUST know Finance and Accounting principles and jargon Prioritize work based on business needs and complexity Experience working within distributed, mainframe or midrange computer environments (background can vary, basic understanding required) Proficient with Microsoft Office tools Ability to communicate effectively with IT and Business units Self-motivated and strong organizational skills Ability to plan strategically, innovate and leverage best practices to solve problems Ability to understand, analyze and document business processes Ability to elicit business requirements using various methods Participate on project teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and ability to manage different stakeholders needs and requirements Service industry knowledge a plus Ability to build and execute SQL queries a plus Experience with system implementations or product implementation projects a plus Experience with CGCs - CMS Construction Management System a plus Work Experience Required: 8+ years of hands-on Business Analyst experience Education Required: BS in business, science, or other related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
