The job details are listed below: Data Scientist Our client, a telecommunications company located in Stamford, CT is in need ofa Data Scientist on a 3 to 6 month contract with high likelihood of extensionand/or conversion to FTE for the right candidate. The Data Scientist will workonsite daily, building predictive and statistical models to improve creditpolicy and minimize credit losses by identifying possible defaulters. The DataScientist will also create predictive models for such initiatives as:acquisition/risk management, customer retention, and customer segmentation and will be responsible for generating the quantitative analysis necessary fordata-driven business recommendations. This individual must have strong datamanipulation and interpretation skills, and have the business acumen to be ableto quantitatively assess business problems.
