Windows Computers Operating System: Windows 10 Top 3-4 desired skills required for the position: Extensive experience with Datawarehouse Architecture and Datawarehouse projects, including logical and physical data modeling and optimization Expert level experience with ETL tool Informatica Expertise in SQL, with database experience in Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server Business Objects universe and reporting design and development skills with experience in methods for optimizing the Business Objects universe against the physical model Detailed Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to support the Child Care and Employment Programs Data Warehouses containing data from YoungStar,WISCCRS, and Wisconsin Works Programs. This data warehouse reporting will be used primarily by the Division of Early Care and Education and the Bureau of Working Families. The individual in the Business Intelligence Technical Lead II position will design, develop, and maintain databases for data storage and data mining. The individual will perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation. He/she will also seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for leading the project, design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture and will work with our business partners and IT management team to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Solves complex technical problems Furthermore, the individual will optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user. They will also create testing methodology and criteria, design and coordinate a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capacity, develop standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems, and develops data/information quality metrics. Lastly, the individual will participate in special projects as required. The position will report to the Supervisor in the Child Care and Child Welfare Section. Typically has 10 to 14 years of experience with large and complex database management systems, business intelligence tools and systems.
