Title SQL Server DBA Location: Alameda, CA (Day 1 onsite) Duration: 12+ Months with the possibilities of extension NO CPT & TN (Passport Number is Mandatory) Exp: 8 + years Job Description: Responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining database servers Perform requested database changes, updates, and modifications to data base structures Ensure data integrity, stability, and system availability Assist developer or application teams to identify locks, issues, index needs and performance tuning opportunities Automate and schedule database maintenance jobs, system updates, re-stats, update statistics etc Strong understanding of system tables, procedures, and ability to write SQL queries to pull reports from database Perform backup, recovery policies to databases and ensure database health monitoring Perform tasks to deploy database objects as requested by other application teams Provide access to databases, maintain roles, and remove access to users as needed Upgrade database levels to new versions and deploy necessary patches Provide technical consulting advice on database related queries and performance issues On call support for production servers Develop performance metrics or standards related to database Oracle Database installation, administration, decommission Oracle Physical standby replication setup Performance tuning of database queries without diagnostic and tuning patch i.e AWS/ADDM reports Be able to write queries for database health reporting for example: RMAN backup completion reports Shell scripting Basic understanding of NFS client and mounting on Linux Database patching Experience with Puppet or Ansible for database software install and patching SQL server installation and administration SQL server patching Keywords: trade national California Tennessee http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=278546&uid= |
